A WINNER'S BLUEPRINT

In Life there will always be right and wrong, great and horrible, a winner and a loser. No one wants to fail or starts out with failure in mind! Everyone is looking to have achievements and become successful. Many people have asked the question what am I not doing that if I change will help me to get where I desire to be? The true question is, what type of blueprint do you have and how are you working it?

I have decided to work a principle that I created called “do it right the first time”. What does it mean? It sounds a bit arrogant and almost impossible. There is a saying in the bible that there is nothing new under the sun. Well it is true! Everything that is done has been done before we just have to learn when and how? It comes from studying your craft and surrounding yourself with the right type of people. Well who determines the right type of people? You do of course! If you want to be a doctor, do you surround yourself with entertainers and athletes to achieve your goals or do you find like-minded people who can encourage and provoke you to achieve your goals and dreams?

A Winners Blueprint is derived from the principle of “doing it right the first time”. This simple principle can be used in every area of your life if you follow the blueprint. The blueprint is set on these three foundational pillars.

I. Decide that you want to win.
II. Commit to the preparation and dedication needed for the victory.
III. Succeed by devoting yourself to the cycle of productivity.

How does it work? The first thing you have to do is develop a vision for whatever it is you desire to accomplish. Despite the area in your life that you desire change in you will never change it until you get a clear vision of what you want it to change to or look like. The key is to start with the something that you saw and then build towards it. STOP! At this point you are merely in the writing process. Make sure you understand that this is a process (a marathon and not a sprint). After you have developed your vision and written it out as far as you possibly can, now it is time for the next phase. Seek the wisdom and knowledge from others who are knowledgeable in the areas it will take to accomplish what you saw. Learning from those who are wiser than you in a particular field is the next phase as you glean from the counsel and the relationship you develop with them you will notice that your surroundings and knowledge base starts to broaden. Now once you begin to get a better understanding you move into the next phase called application. Application is simply applying that which you learned from those who assisted you in the process. Here is the best part of it all which is the last phase of the blueprint called transfer. Transfer is when you take all that you learned and become a distributor of wise counsel from your experiences.

The cycle of productivity is to start, continue, and finish by seeing it through.

ASSESSMENT OF A BETTER YOU

In the last 11 days of the New Year many people have asked themselves how can I do better. What am I going to focus on this year that will help me have a more challenging and productive life? I want to share with you that a better you has always been available. The true question is will you let that person out.

In order to see the new you there are five simple things that you are going to have to evaluate about yourself. This can be a simple or very complicated exercise depending on how honest you are willing to be with yourself. The first step is to sit back and meditate on who you think you are. The second step is to write down your best attributes, then your worst. The third step is to ask at least five of your friends what they see your best and worst attributes are without having to worry about any drama.

Check to see if there are any attributes that have been duplicated among the answers you have collected including yours. After you have evaluated the top five in each category set out in your mind that you will work on each attribute daily. That was the easy part! Now it’s time to make the commitment to yourself that will change your course for the rest of the year.

Evaluate yourself in these five areas and see where you stand. What do you think and what are other people saying about you in these areas. Remember this is a “me” exercise that will only benefit you if you let it. After answering these simply questions make a commitment that you will make a conscious effort to change for the better.

Trustworthiness
Respect
Responsibility
Fairness
Compassion

Trustworthiness
What do people say about your integrity? Are you a promise keeper? Do your words line up with your actions? If you were someone else could you trust yourself?

Respect
How well do treat people, family, friends, and strangers? Do you play well with others? How do you act when no one is looking?

Responsibility
Are you accountable to someone for your actions? Do you take life seriously? Can you say that you are a prudent person?

Fairness
Do you exercise consistency in all that you do and make sure that you avoid favoritism and taking advantage of others?

Compassion
How do you rate your level of kindness, caring, and empathy towards others and the issues of life?

If the exercise helps you contact me on facebook at live2produce and tell me all about your experience. Remember this is for those who truly desire bigger and better out of their lives.

5 PIVOTAL AREAS OF LIFE TO FORTIFY

In 2011 there are 5 major areas that I would like to focus on. It is extremely important that a shift in mentality, thoughts, and actions take place in the first 30 days of this year. The very first thing that needs to be dealt with is the expectations for the year. Expectations for 2011 can not be the same as last year if things are going to be different.

According to Albert Einstein “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is Insanity.” This is the truth and it’s time to recognize the difference. He also states “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

This year let’s do things differently so we can achieve our goals, dreams, and expectations. Below are the 5 pivotal areas that can help change your life if you fortify them in 2011.

Health- Learn how to eat to live and not live to eat.
Finance- Learn how to make what you have last.
Relationships- Treating people like people and not property.
Mental Toughness- Learn what it takes to survive and thrive.
Physical Conditioning- Developing a new you to make it through.
